2027 National War College: An Insider’s View of National Security and Strategy

By popular demand, Naples Council on World Affairs is planning the return of the National War College program on February 15, 2027, an all-day examination of defense, national security and international affairs.

The NCWA War College offers civilians an exceptional opportunity to hear directly from distinguished military leaders, national security professionals, diplomats, strategists, and civilian experts who bring firsthand experience and deep expertise to some of the most consequential issues facing the United States and the world.

Through presentations and candid discussion, participants gain insight into how military and civilian leaders approach national security, defense strategy, diplomacy, emerging threats, geopolitical competition, and the complex decisions that shape U.S. policy.

More than a traditional lecture program, the War College gives NCWA members the opportunity to go beyond the headlines and examine critical global challenges through the perspectives of those who have studied, advised on, and—in many cases—helped make these decisions.

Designed specifically for an informed civilian audience, the program encourages questions, discussion, and a deeper understanding of the relationship between military strategy, diplomacy, national security, and American foreign policy.

For civilians interested in understanding how America thinks about security and its role in the world, the NCWA War College offers an extraordinary window into that process.

Details and agenda to follow.
