Application to Serve on the Board of Directors

The NCWA Board of Directors invites applications from members interested in joining the Board starting July 1, 2025. Board members serve a three-year term, with one renewal option. Applications are due by January 10, 2025.

The Board plays an active role in various volunteer opportunities, including assisting with presentation of lectures and special events, leading Great Decisions discussion groups, and supporting educational programs like Model United Nations and an array of scholarship and other programs that prepare students for a changing world and for careers in international relations.

As a "working board" with no paid administrative staff, members are deeply involved in program development and operations. Those interested should review participation expectations, items that are requested for review, and instructions for applying on the provided form.
