Dave Brown, who joined the NCWA Board of Directors in 2023, is chair of our Great Decisions program, which offers approximately 25 small discussion groups in an eight-week session beginning each January that focus on urgent international topics of the day.

Dave is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a B.S.M.E. and multiple international affairs courses from John Hopkins University.

He spent 30 years in marketing and international business management positions for Swedish and U.S. industrial manufacturing businesses. This included bi-weekly visits to Western Europe, restructuring a French business, managing a licensee in Japan, purchasing a business in Germany, and building a factory in India. Over the last 20 years he started and built an online custom furniture business using multiple U.S.-based workshops.

He has been a Great Decisions participant since 2017 and a Great Decisions discussion group leader since 2020.
