China: One Fifth of the Population of the World
Judy Rubinstein, Naples Council Board Member, will speak about her Leadership Mission to China this past summer. The presentation will be held on Monday, January 14th,at the Claussen Center Seminar Room at St. John the Evangelist Church, 625 111th Avenue, at 10:30 am.
Joining 5 other delegates from Councils nationwide and the Director of the National Council in Washington, the group traveled as guests of the Chinese Government and met with leaders and dignitaries in the country. Judy will address her “personal reflections of the Chinese mindset”.
Judy is a devoted member of our Council, serving on the Program Committee, volunteering for Model U.N., and has participated in a Great Decisions group for 11 years. She has also been an active volunteer for the Pittsburgh Council on World Affairs, since 1979. Judy received her B.A. in Economics from Chatham College and took graduate courses at Carnegie-Mellon University, where she serves on the Curriculum Committee, and Penn State University.
