The Naples Council on World Affairs invites you to a presentation on this key country in the Caucasus Region, given by our board member and Council Secretary, Donna Suddeth. “Azerbaijanis say they live in a dangerous neighborhood with Russia to the north and Iran to the south”. Donna visited Azerbaijan this past summer and quotes the residents of this country located so precariously between two important nations in our foreign policy sights.
Donna will share her experiences while on this Leadership Mission with other council members from the U.S. network, on Monday, December 12th, at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 625 111th Avenue. in the Claussen Center Seminar Room.
An avid traveler and internationalist, Donna has also lived in many states in our vast country where her wanderlust has taken her to all 50 states and 70 countries. She served as President of the Welcome to Florida International Club for 2 years in addition to serving 6 years on the Naples Council Board of Directors. She is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle and taught in the school district there for 3 years. Please join us for this interesting presentation.
