Jeremy Haft is an adjunct Professor at the Foreign Policy and Business Schools at Georgetown University. He will show us how the Chinese economy really works, from the ground up, and why it is both a danger and an opportunity for Americans. He argues that China’s manufacturing and agricultural sectors are “hamstrung by unseen systemic risk, which creates danger for Americans that consume Chinese products, but also presents tremendous economic opportunities for American industry and labor, supporting millions of US jobs”.
