2023-24 Southwest Florida Model United Nations

Naples Council on World Affairs has announced an exciting 2023-24 schedule and topics for the Southwest Florida Model United Nations program for high school participants from Collier, Lee, Glades, Charlotte and Hendry counties.

NCWA partners with Florida Gulf Coast University to host the annual Southwest Florida Model UN competition, which is scheduled March 4-5. FGCU President Asyegul Timur will give opening remarks at 9:00 am on March 4.

NCWA has sponsored and administered the Model UN program for Southwest Florida high schools since 1989 as a part of its educational outreach objectives. The highlight of the year of mentoring and competition is an annual two-day event, with 300+ students competing from at least a dozen high schools.
