Wally lives in the Park Shore area of Naples with his wife Susie. They spend the warmer months in Massachusetts, to be close to their children and grandchildren. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Wally was a partner in a consulting firm, while also specializing in management applications of computer software. He co-authored WISE, a simulated exercise in the management of multi-nationals, used by corporations and graduate schools to train future executives. Wally has been a member of a Great Decisions group for a decade, and for the past two years was the Membership chair for the Council. He is active in golf, both as a player and as a volunteer rules official. He also enjoys tennis, and sings regularly in a Naples church choir.
