Dear Members: Please note that the lectures with Dr. Victor Cha, Wednesday, February 10th have been CANCELLED.


Washington is closed down again in view of the incoming storm and all flights have also been cancelled. Dr. Cha sends his regrets.
 
The Council will show a docudrama based on the need to secure and destroy nuclear weapons and materials before it's too late. The film, " Last Best Chance "is a work of fiction, based on facts about inadequate security for nuclear weapons and materials.
 
This film was endorsed by Thomas Keane and Lee Hamilton, Co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission and Former Senator Sam Nunn. It was supported by the Nuclear Threat Initiative [NTI] and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
 
The film will be shown at the scheduled lecture times.
