Herb received a B.B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst with the common denominator for his career involving investment management. His career included 21 years with The Northern Trust Company. Subsequently, Herb held the insurance company Chief Investment Officer position with Insurance Company of North America and following the merger with Connecticut General Insurance, Herb was Chief Investment Officer of CIGNA’s insurance operations. Herb then served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Torchmark.
